The cottage at a glance

Our family-friendly Victorian stone cottage sleeps up to six guests across three welcoming bedrooms and is set up for relaxed, easy stays on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. Thoughtfully restored, it blends character features with modern comforts, including a light-filled loft bedroom with sea views.

Bedrooms

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms:

• King bedroom – with partial sea views and plenty of space to unwind

• Loft double bedroom – bright and peaceful, with lovely sea views across Lyme Bay

• Twin bedroom – ideal for children or friends sharing, with practical storage

Bathrooms

• Main bathroom (first floor) – a full-size bath, large walk-in rain shower and heated towel rail, perfect after a day outdoors

• Downstairs WC – a handy extra toilet on the ground floor

Living spaces

The cosy sitting room has comfortable seating, a Fire TV, and a selection of board games and jigsaws for relaxed evenings in. A feature fireplace adds warmth and character, making it an easy place to settle after a day exploring the coast.

Kitchen & dining

The fully equipped kitchen is designed for easy home cooking, with a gas hob, double oven/grill, fridge, microwave and all the essentials you’ll need. The utility area houses the washing machine, while the adjoining dining space seats six, making it perfect for shared meals, slow breakfasts, or a post-walk cup of tea. We’ve recently added a full-size dishwasher to make longer stays and family breaks even easier.

For families, we provide a travel cot (please bring your own bedding), a highchair, toddler toilet seats, step stools, and children’s crockery and cutlery — making stays with little ones that bit easier.

Outdoor space

Outside, you’ll find a private, fully enclosed courtyard garden with a table and seating for six, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. There’s also space to store outdoor gear.

Parking

Free off-road public parking is available close to the cottage, making arrival and unloading straightforward. Free on-street parking is also available nearby for added flexibility.

Dog-friendly stays

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome (£25 per stay). The enclosed garden offers extra peace of mind, and we ask that dogs be kept downstairs and off furniture (unless fully covered with your own throws). Dogs should not be left alone in the cottage unless safely crated, and guests are kindly asked to clear up after them and supervise dogs in the garden.
